Veranda Syros House

We hadden een fantastische vakantie in het huis van Dimitris, Alexandra en Vaseliki! De gastvrijheid was buitengewoon en we werden overladen met heerlijk eten! Het huis ligt op een fijne locatie met een prachtig uitzicht (wel op een heuvel dus houd rekening met trappen of neem een taxi). Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en de tuin met jacuzzi is heerlijk. Ook voor ons zoontje van 1 jaar waren een kinderbedje en kinderstoel geregeld. Bedankt voor alle goede zorgen en alle lekkere gerechten!

This is a pure family run place. The hospitality was worth more than 10! The place was so clean and neat. The position was perfect and the views amazing! Definitely a must for families. The Greek food that was cooked with real produce of Syros from the owner’s wife, was so delicious!

There is nothing to spoil the whole set up.

Υπέροχο μέρος από υπέροχους ανθρώπους. Η θέα και γενικότερα η θέση του καταλύματος ήταν φανταστική, οι παροχές άψογες και οι ιδιοκτήτες απίστευτα φιλόξενοι και φιλικοί.

The apartment has a great view over the bay and we could watch the ships coming into the port. It had a good selection of sleeping options for our family of five (our “kids” are now 21,18 and 17). The air con worked well during a hot August. But best of all was the amazing selection of food that Dimitris, Alexandra and Vasiliki provided supposedly for breakfast but which was more than ample for us also to take for beach snacks and for snacks for the kids when they got in from the late night bars. The family are the most welcoming and hospitable hosts you could ever hope ti meet.

Vasiliki, Alexandra and Dimitris were wonderful hosts! They prepared several delicious breakfast options and desserts during our stay. The view from the home is fantastic. We visited 3 great beaches on the island by public transportation and walked to town and the closest beach. We took the free city bus to Ano Syros, which is lovely.

This was an amazing property in the Vaporia area! Great location and if you rent a car there is parking to put your car! Breathtaking views and great hosts! Greek hospitality at its best!! The hosts had prepared meals for us! A big thank you to the amazing hosts!

We stayed on the island of Syros, our first time in Greece, and absolutely loved it. It’s a stunning island with beautiful weather and crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming. An ideal destination for a family with young children. The hosts of Veranda Syros House were incredibly hospitable. They picked us up and dropped us off at both the airport and the port, and took care of everything down to the smallest detail. We’ve never experienced such genuine hospitality before. They regularly brought us large trays of delicious homemade food. We truly felt pampered. The house itself was perfect: a lovely location with a breathtaking view of the sea from the balcony. There was also a beautiful garden with a jacuzzi, where our children had a fantastic time playing. The kitchen was well-equipped, although we barely used it thanks to the generous meals provided by our hosts. The house has lots of charm. We used four bedrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. We had an unforgettable time. A huge thank you to Vasiliki, Alexandra, and Dimitris. We hope to return someday!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy family home. Beautiful view from the patio! Tons of space for our family of 4. Everything we need. But the hosts were the best part. They were so kind and provided amazing hospitality. A ride to/from port, information about the island, and a kitchen full of yummy treats and goodies. They are such a warm and sweet family, we loved getting to know them. Highly recommend this place for a home away from home.
