Communication with the proprietor was excellent. It was amazing to be greeted by butter, a loaf of bread and milk, as we got there late and were not able to go to the supermarket first. There was also a lot of parking so this was never an issue. The Tv worked brilliantly, the electric shower was great.

It was very close to dartmouth .but ok for driving to torquay .but we chose this site .as it was quiet .aswell .

The double bed was quite small for a double and the mattress was hard

Keys in a keysafe by the front door. The site was very pleasant and appeared to be reasonably well maintained. Quiet at this time of year. Views from site very good. Chalet is detached - a real plus point. The owner was exceedingly helpful when I stupidly lost the only key while out on a day trip. SHOULD have replaced it in the keysafe every time I went out. Duh! Owner was brilliant at sorting the problem for us, even though he lives many miles away, and the person on site who holds a spare key was difficult to contact (initially). Overall, the chalet was a very comfortable place to stay.

Only a couple of things that were not so good. The double bed was right next to the wall, so impossible for the person on that side to exit the bed without disturbing the other. A problem for older people who have to get up in the night... Not a lot to be done though as the room is so narrow. The shower could do with a grab handle (again for older people) and also a soap dish for people who don't use shower gel.
