Aintree Farm Cottage

Loved the cottage and location. The cottage had ample facilities and was really lovely. The bedrooms were spacious and had fans for the hotter days. We loved Bella the sheep! She was a favourite part of the stay! Truly a lovely stay and view.

It was self-catering and the location was more centralized and we could easily reach places like the beaches and shopping malls, Saldanha Bay and Vredenburg. It was a calm and peaceful place and brought back memories of our youth on a farm. Greeted by a lamb and geese was the cherry on top. The sound effects of the parrot next door to us were phenomenal. Even in the early morning you can hear different bird sounds. The sunrise was spectacular with the mist hanging at dawn.

They could have installed a mosquito repellent. Provided a car port. The bathroom lock was faulty. The basin water in the bathroom couldn't drain properly. Cupboards can be added to the rooms.

Thank you Chantel for going the extra mile to accommodate our requests. Loved the clear night sky and Bella, love her and her personality. We will be back very soon....our new favourite cottage to stay at.

The location of the property was good, located close to shops and the casino.

The dishwasher did not work as advertised, the door handle broke off on the second day and nobody has dusted the top of the portraits and mirrors of the property in weeks. We also found the contents of Christmas crackers under the bed and behind the couch pillows, assuming these are from the previous tenants. House cleaning also changed the bedding and towels in one room, without us giving them consent to access the property. The drains in the bathroom sink and bath did not drain, and the shower drained very slowly.

Everything was as advertised. It is a real relaxing estate, peaceful and quiet

Amazing weekend away from city life. Beautiful views and peaceful. Will definitely book again.
