Aintree Farm Cottage

Beautifully decorated, clean, quiet with its very own Bella the sheep to keep you company. Loved the farm setting. Fabulous place. Bella however is a picky eater - and only wants crunchy chips - and not the spicy kind either :)

Close enough to town, quiet and peaceful. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the animals and freedom of walking around. Owners helpful to attend to issues that when mentioned.

Not as pretty as the pictures unfortunately... Dirty- had to remove someone /people's hair from bathroom sink as water would not run out... I/ we all did not sleep first night (nephew's allergies were insane) and we were itching (I had to wash again at 1am)- not sure if bedding dusty/ bed bugs...looked under beds and furniture this morning when packing - super thick dust and dirt. Have stayed at three feathers last year same time just down road with nephew so not environmental. Not as advertised: no coffee machine, no toiletries (not even handsoap) Television not working and they new before we came. Netflix only connected next day. Pool empty and dirty No milk? Never before have I stayed at any place and milk not provided? 6 spoons of ricoffee for weekend (luckily I brought my own coffee and milk) I did not take pictures or complain as I did not want to create negativity around experience for family. Just made the most of it.

The cottage was extremely clean and well organized. Had everything you could possibly need. Lovely, quiet, peaceful and serene atmosphere if you wanting to be on your own with your family and away from the city buzz and noise. Super safe and the little animals on the property added an extra touch. The host was readily available and so kind towards us. We went for lovely early morning walks and evening runs in the area. Couldn't have asked for a better getaway to accommodate both my elderly parents as well as my little one. Little bit of something to keep everyone content and happy.

An extra fan would have been nice as it was quite hot the weekend we were there.

Very comfortable and we had all we need very quiet.
