Picturesque Traditional Stone House

Tipica casa cretese a 10 minuti di auto dalla spiaggia di Falasarna. Giardino molto bene tenuto, casa pulita, molto comodo il materasso del lettino, parcheggio in strada sempre disponibile. La padrona di casa ci ha fatto trovare una torta al cioccolato appena fatta, acqua , succhi e marmellata per la colazione, detersivi e spugnette disponibili.

Il materasso troppo molle, mancanza di zanzariere che, essendo in piena campagna, ha reso impossibile tenere aperte le finestre. La doccia necessita di un box completo in tutti i lati e la base di essere ristrutturata perché fa uscire acqua.

Lovely little place in a Greek village. Lots of space outdoors in the beautiful garden as well as table at porch. 2 minutes walk to a local taverna where the hosts are very friendly and the food and hospitality outstanding. (We went every night to watch the sun set. https://tavernamouraki.gr/. ) Our hosts were very kind, Poppy looked after us beautifully and when we left some clothing behind hosts went out of their way to return it to us! The village grows olive trees and tomatoes and the locals are friendly. The house is near to Falasarna beach and other attractions such as ancient olive tree, st johns cave etc. (Our favourite beach was Tiny beach.) Good for a short stay but stay a few days to get the most out of it. You do need a car to stay here.

The stay was one of the best we ever had. It was just as we wished for and super idyllic. A beautiful stone house on the countryside with olive trees and grapes growing around. But the best was our host and his mother Popi, she was so nice and forthcoming. We were served fresh grapes out of the garden and even self made cake :-) could not feel more at home.

Very comfortable with a lot of charm. The garden is perfect to chill and relax. The people are super kind and warm. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved it and we will definitely come back when possible!

Beautiful traditional stone house near Falasarna. Very well maintained. Nice kitchen, quiet aircon, beautiful garden.

It is actually a studio attached to a bigger house. But it’s nice anyway.

Vassili and his mother Popy are the nicest hosts. We felt very welcomed. The garden is a little haven. The house is beautiful and cosy.
