Harbour Way Cottage by Coast & Country Stays

A stunning cottage in a fabulous location next to the harbor and an excellent pub. We were a group of 4 friends with a bedroom each and practically a bathroom each. The cottage was beautifully presented, clean as a whistle and well kitted out. We had a fabulous break here

Nothing at all - only bit of feedback would be the lack of kitchen scissors and an ice cube tray but we managed!

Beautiful cottage, well furnished, lovely decor touches. Well equipped. Approx 200m from sandy beach , 2 pubs within a stones throw, only ate at one but food and welcome was lovely.

Our stay was during a cold spell when outdoor temperatures were minus 1 , however the heating was not sufficient for the building. The bedrooms were kept reasonably warm with an electric radiator. Though the window in an upstairs bedroom didn’t close fully leaving a draught. The lounge / dining area was heated with one fan heater which was nowhere near enough for the size of the room. There were two electric radiators on the walls but these did not work. It was such a shame as it affected our overall experience in what was otherwise a gorgeous and convenient cottage. The dishwasher was stuck on one of the programmes so we were unable to use it throughout our stay.

Great location for access to the town excellent parking

The view from the sitting room was poor and it felt like being in a goldfish bowl as people looked in when walking past(blinds?). Entry time was 5pm - why ? Radiators in bedrooms were noisy during the night and had to be turned off.

Lovely cosy cottage with beautiful decor in a really central location for Seahouses’ harbour, pubs and shops. Very comfy beds and furnishings, and everything was high quality and very clean. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely no major complaints but just a few finishing touches that would have made our stay even better: - the lighting overall wasn’t bright enough but would be easily resolved with an extra floor lamp/side lamp in the living room and brighter light bulbs in the bedrooms - more storage for clothes (e.g. a bigger chest of drawers) in the upstairs double room (not the en-suite room) and hooks on the backs of doors. We didn’t have enough space to unpack all our stuff. But these are very minor complaints that could be easily remedied!

Fantastic location and a beautiful house for us to enjoy a long weekend together, highly recommend.
