Salmon House

Of our seven "bookings" during our last Scottish trip, this was the most surprising because it really felt like a very comfortable (tidy) home we sadly had booked for only four nights. A quiet spot at the end of a road (with a seaview), within easy walking distance from the city center. A very sympathetic host... This really is a place to come back! And don't forget to book dinner in La Balena, so much more than a traditional Italian restaurant.

A lovely home from home stay, nice garden area as well which was ideal for our dog. We would have enjoyed this more had the weather been drier :D The welcome pack was really appreciated too, so much so we bought more bakery products! Thank you so much

A wee flash mop or similiar to wipe up after ourselves on the wet days would’ve been great.

Spotless. Very comfortable and warm. Two bathrooms makes a huge difference to us. Very central. Very private.

Fantastic house, really comfortable, very homely with nice decor and well equipped. Loved our stay. Lovely welcome basket of goodies was much appreciated indeed.

Great open space on ground floor, very comfortable and fantastic having closed garden for our 2 dogs. Perfect property and location for travelling across Lewis and down to Harris

Clean and beautifully furnished. Nice Island touches with local books and a lovely welcome basket of Stag bakery items & essentials. Comfy beds. Location by the sea with great outside seating areas. Easy reach of Stornaway and lovely walk along the beach path to Sandwick just outside the door.

Could do with a few small bins in the bathrooms.

It’s private. It was easy to get to and close to town. The views were amazing. The attention to details was lovely inside - the furnishings and the bed was super comfortable.

There wasn’t anything that we disliked at all. Excellent stay.

Spacious, comfortable, warm, plenty of parking, great location (convenient to access Stornoway; shops and restaurants, harbour). Lovely Christmas tree with lights and treats there when I arrived.

Was all really great apart from I didn't manage to access the Wi-Fi however because I was busy so didn't contact the owners so could have been down to me rather than the Wi-Fi. Good phone signal so just used my phone.
