Nothing to complain about

Location and facilities. Comfortable home from home. Everything we needed as a base to visit family nearby.

Not really ‘didn’t likes’ more comments… A bit warm in the living area even with heater turned down (although that’s a good problem to have!) Would be good to put some clothes hooks on the back of the bathroom doors? (We’ve used those ‘Commander’ self adhesive ones at home and they work well). Soundproofing (mentioned) not too effective.

Great location quiet and peacefull and only 9 mins from the center of Canterbury.

We had issues with our internet connection but Sara and her son went above and beyond to fix the issue.

This was such a beautiful place to stay. Clean and very comfortable beds. It was a home from home place and everything me and my son needed was there. We have booked to come back in December so we can enjoy Canterbury town at Christmas.

An absolutely fantastic find. This little cottage has everything you need. Set in a superb location. Very peaceful. The cottage is very clean and well equipped. The bed was so comfortable too. If you like walking it's a very idyllic 3 mile walk into Canterbury via orchards, woods and the North Downs Way. Canterbury is a lovely place and the Cathedral well worth a visit. Extremely wonderful hosts and very dog friendly. 30 minutes from the Channel Tunnel. Will definitely return for a stopover when en route to France next time.

We really enjoyed our stay - beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The hosts were so welcoming and kind during our stay - had a great week here. Highly recommend.

The location was lovely, surrounded by open countryside.

On arrival we were not greeted by our host and were disturbed and concerned for a person making distressing noises coming from the adjoining cottage. Our host eventually knocked on the door, we voiced our concerns to which our host told us it was a family member, who lives next door. To show respect for their guests at Orchard Cottage, whatever the situation was, this should have been mindfully resolved however, the noise continued periodically which had a negative impact on our stay. Please be aware the walls are thin and noise carries between the two cottages. The twin beds were not made up into a double bed, as requested at the time of booking and despite a reminder also sent a few days before our arrival. Some of the rods on the staircase were misplaced so extra care was needed going up and down them, this is clearly an ongoing problem and should be addressed. It was not the relaxing few days we were hoping for which is a pity as the location is lovely.

Viel Platz. Zwei Badezimmer und sehr ruhige Lage. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Tolle Terasse mit Sitzgelegenheit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wiederkommen.

Leider wurde vergessen die Wohnung zu reinigen. Das hat dann der Sohn übernommen. Kann alles passieren und fanden wir auch nicht so schlimm. Wenn in der Nebenwohnung jemand wohnt hört man sehr laut, wenn Wasser läuft (auch nachts) das ist etwas hellhörig.
