Die Lage wurde von Booking falsch verortet, ca. eine Stunde mit dem Auto entfernt vom tatsächlichen Ort. Die Zufahrt ist weit ab, eng und schlecht ausgebaut. Es erfordert einen Geländewagen und viel Fahrkunst! Das Grundstück völlig unbeleuchtet. Die nächste Gastronomie/ Einkaufsmöglichkeit mind. 30 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Aus der Dusche kommt das Wasser nur tropfenweise und lässt sich in der Temperatur kaum regulieren. Eine Stornierung bei der Anreise lehnte der Vermieter kategorisch ab. Wir wollten wirklich nicht bleiben und haben uns die Woche abgequält!

Cottage is in a lovely, secluded spot close to the River Tamar. Host very generously left freshly baked bread and free range eggs on the kitchen table.

If you’re not a local and used to west country roads and driving, the narrow lanes to reach the property.

A beautiful quaint cottage. Lovely painted murals on the wall done by one of the art students. Very peaceful right on the banks of the river. When we arrived there was a freshly baked loaf, six eggs and milk in the fridge. Tea and Coffee in the jars. Excellent WiFi. Fresh flowers on the table, Jonathan was a great host.

There wasn't anything about the property we didn't like really other than maybe the road down to it. Single track and very bumpy, but that is to be expected in that area.

Stunning location. Unexpected treat of eggs, freshly made bread, flowers and milk. Fresh towels put out on the beds. Everything you could need was there.

Nothing

This was in a great location, very quiet and in a lovely setting. The photos were a true representation to the property and the hosts were super helpful and very nice. Everything within the property was working and all we needed for our stay.

The property had a slight smell of damp on entry, but nothing major and certainly not a deal breaker, just the difference between a 9/10 and a 10/10. In fairness it’s not uncommon with property like this after the winter season. I’d revisit without hesitation.
