Victoria Cottage, Ironbridge

It was lovely and clean and thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Fantastic location, you either need to be quite fit as its very hilly or be prepared to drive everywhere. We loved the walks, and it's so beautiful! The cottage is small but perfectly formed and beautifully decorated, with lots of attention to detail. felt like home from home. Very well kitted out! we weren't short of anything! I have asthma and can get worried about properties that allow dogs but you wouldn't know! whoever keeps this cottage clean, does an amazing job! It was very close to good, friendly pub with nice food. Good parking! Rachel, the host. Kept in touch with us, gave us loads of info, making sure we got in easily and knew how to sort everything, there is a brilliant folder with everything you need to know. I honestly would visit again!

Although it's lovely having the pub next door, it was quite loud later at night, the front bedroom also had a lot of light from passing cars coming through until very late, black out blinds might be a good idea in the future 😀 The bathroom is downstairs, so be prepared and the top step on the staircase is a bit tricky. This did not deter from the charm of the cottage, but if you are a bit more frail this may not be the cottage for you

We loved the location, out of the way but so close to the town centre. The cottage had everything we needed, all plates cups, saucers. cutlery, washing liquids, quilts....... We enjoyed the walk into the town centre, approx 7 mins downhill. The location is also right next door to The Golden Ball, a lovely local pub which we used each night.

Not a lot really, if anything the stairs to the bedrooms are exceedingly steep, always keep your 3 points of contact when walking down them.

A real home from home. This cottage has everything you need and is very comfortable and clean.

Very clean & comfortable beds! Very good nights sleep & all the facilities you need, the location is perfect, and there is plenty of parking.

WiFi didn’t work & heating also did not work. But this did not out weigh the positives.
