Glangwna Holiday Park

Nothing in this cabin... Owner is disillusioned & inconsiderate

Stayed in 4 other cabins before Cabin 117 After travelling 100 miles for 2 nights 30/31st December. Upon arrival it smelt of damp/dirt... Nowhere to hang coats Depressing living area & little room to move. Worst bed/bedroom ever.... springs visible? No bedside table/shelf.. glasses/drink has to go on floor. Wardrobe has dirty bedding & some odd clothes? Paid £108.00 a night to sleep on springs with a Tea towel for a quilt. A cellotaped message left on wall justifying the smell... Having only stayed 3 weeks prior in a beautiful cabin did not experience any of this.. Contacted Melanie straight away as she had been very helpful before our stay... Melanie did not address any issues or offer any solutions apart from telling me that this is the worst feedback ever received and her cabin was an 8.6 rating... the best on the site.. This is INCORRECT & a LIE This woman is both dillusional and has little consideration when rightly challenged about basic essentials required in a property that she rents out. Melanie said she would only give me 1 nights refund & if I was not happy to take it up with Booking.com. I paid £216.00 + petrol & time & was given back £90.00. I contacted Melanie upon my return... Her response was.....HI PROBLEM ???

Scenery was amazing. Cabin was cosy. Obviously bit chilly as expected in winter, but soon heated up. Plenty of heaters. Was kept fully informed from booking to leaving. Definitely will be going back

Lovely accommodation - cosy and homelike. The site is very tranquil - loved the sound of the running stream. The power shower was also fabulous! Food from the cafe and restaurant v tasty and the young man at the bar v helpful.

Nothing - my only request would be a dog-friendly area inside the clubhouse, but that is feedback for the site owner and not the property owner. We had take away from the restaurant both nights which was lovely as it was a bit too cold to eat outside, but they do state no dogs inside so it was my fault for not double checking.

Honestly was absolutely thrilled with our stay at Mels cabin.. it really was a home from home.. amazing views, comfy rooms, private WiFi which the kids were made up with, even left us lovely little snacks and drinks for when we arrived which was really thoughtful. Will definitely book again and would highly recommend. was very clean and tidy too.

Location was great . Heaters warmed up fast . We had a few goodies left for us.

Bathroom door was a split one and didn't lock or shut properly. Didn't have a hairdryer

It was just perfect everything we needed and more.

Great location to explore the area- the property was kitted out with everything we needed for a fab stay the owner was even kind enough to provide drinks and snack on arrival. The holiday park is lovely- great restaurant/bar with good choice of food. The owner was very flexible with arrival and departure which made it so much easier as we were moving our daughter into Bangor University.
