Luxurious Beach House Chesil Beach. Sleeps 6

We had a lovely time. The house was very nice and it was spotless.The host left a lovely little welcome basket which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again. Thank you☺️

Property was lovely couldnt fault it. Location is quite remote ie not a lot of places to eat were open.

How lovely the decorating was and clean ! Was a very nice place to stay !! Had a beautiful view from top double bedroom ! 2 single beds was very comfortable. And sofa!! When we arrived there was fresh towels a little welcome gift with a basket of goodies on kitchen table chocolate, wine, coffee, popcorn, muffins. There was a pint of milk and fruit juice in the fridge also. We really enjoyed our stay !

Everything was great the only thing I could say was the bed in the basement was uncomfortable on the right hand side it felt like I was going to roll out of bed I did check if the bed was broken underneath but it was fine so im guessing its the mattress... my sister stayed upstairs double bed and she said she woke with a bad back both mornings as did i with basement bed.

A picture perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Sunsets are magical!!! Friendly host..

De locatie op 1 minuut lopen van de boulevard op Chesil beach is top. Prachtig uitzicht en vanuit huis kun gelijk de wandelpaden op Portland oppikkken. Het huis is verdeeld over 3 etages met op de middelste de keuken en woonkamer. Alles is redelijk nieuw met klein buitenterras. Met de fiets kun je veilig Weymouth bereiken via de Rodwell trail. Er is ook vanuit huis een prachtige wandeling te maken over de pebblestones, stukje Rodwell trail en dan helemaal direct langs zee, via fort Norte naar de haven en centrum van Weymouth.

De 2 persoonsbeddden zijn niet groot en de slaapkamer met name op de gegane grond is heel klein. Tip: het terrasmeubilair/tafel is oud en zou dit vervangen. Er staat op het kleine terras ook een roestige oude kapotte fiets. Met 2 lekke banden. Wat hier de bedoeling van is begrijp ik niet! Verder is het aan de verhuurder om het onderhoud op orde te houden in dit relatief nieuwe huis. Je ziet al dat het intensief gebrukt wordt.

Super mooie ligging vlakbij het strand! Erg rustig, zowel binnen als buitenshuis. Fijn dat er twee badkamers zijn en wc’s op de verdieping waar je slaapt. Mooi ingericht en een prima tuintje.

The location of the property was brilliant. Literally a couple of minutes from the beach with private parking. Very well equipped and comfortable. Lovely views over the rooftops of the beach from the upstairs rooms. The house is on 3 levels. It might not be totally suitable for 6 adults but fine for up to 4 adults and 2 children. The outside terrace was small but good for dining. The kitchen is well equipped but compact. There are fans available for hot weather which was welcome We had a little trouble locating it. It is off Brandy Row, which leads to the beach.The host is very quick to respond to any queries or issues. There was full Netflix available though we didn't watch TV much and the WiFi was very good There is a small beach bar/ cafe just a few minutes walk away. We hadn't reserved unfortunately, so unable to eat lunch there. We would be more than happy to return if in the area.. Thanks Debbie and Leah

There wasn't really anything we didn't like.

cleanliness, equipment, space, location, showers.

lack of hooks and towel rails, height of shelves in kitchen cupboards, damp odour in bathroom downstairs (it cleared over time)
