Extra comfy beds Central location Good quality fixtures & fittings Fridge came equipped with basic food items The fact that the host accommodated our last minute request of an extra nights stay..

Sitting on the chairs drinking a cuppa…there was nowhere to put the mug of tea. A small table placed between the two chairs would have been ideal…other than that…it was perfect

"Pretty town with lots to see and lots of history."

Location was excellent, right on the high street so plenty of shops, pubs and attractions within easy walking distance. Wonderful welcome pack of bread, butter, milk, marmalade and fresh cookies, plus other staples in the pantry. Excellent communication with Paul and very grateful for early check in and slightly later check out. Fabulous smelling toiletries in the bathrooms and great to have all the bins for recycling. Everything you needed in the kitchen. Beautiful old property.

The stairs were a bit steep in places and the final four had no handrail/bannister. The main entrance door was sometimes a bit stiff to open so needed a good shove!

clean, tidy, comfortable beds, perfect location, on the doorstep or the town and markets also the pubs, perfect for family’s or friends. will definitely be returning, Bread, milk, cake etc is a lovely gesture. Highly recommend.

"Very well located, quiet and well provisioned."

Location was perfect for my needs. Size and facilities were perfect and the accommodation was comfortable.

The mattress was too hard for me. Older people need something a bit softer - its the hips and arthritis ! Probably just fine for most people.
