Bournemouth secluded cottage 10mins walk to beach

Lovely cottage in an excellent location.

Comfy beds, fab shower, small courtyard to sit in, 10 min walk to beach, parking space

Unpleasant smell of dog on arrival No freezer

Good clean facilities, very comfortable. We had dogs with us and they were safe in the courtyard.

There was no mention of the difficult stairs. Fortunately we managed them but if we were older it would have been a problem.

Lovely secluded setting. Nice decor. Family home feel.

We are quite fast walkers and it always took us 12-13 minutes to the sea. The fridge did not have a freezer compartment which made it impossible to use freezer blocks or make ice. It was a very hot week touching 30 degrees at times. The stairs were difficult with a tiny step on the turn. We are both very mobile but each of us slipped and fell during the week. There were no instructions for the appliances meaning we had to fiddle quite a bit to find out how things work. The heating came on in the mornings making the temperature hard to bear. Again with no instructions we could not reset anything.

Loved the property, fantastic location.
