Great base for a Yorkshire adventure

Comfortable and spacious property. Very well-equipped, especially in terms of the “disposable” items like food and cleaning products. Very good location, opposite mini-supermarket and award-winning chippy (which was really excellent!)

I received a message from the host via Booking.com, briefly read and half-digested it (on arrival at property) then tried to refer to it again a few times during the stay but found only its first paragraph was available on the communication thread. I’m sure I could have accessed this info (maybe downloading the app, for instance) but I didn’t want the hassle and couldn’t see in any case why most of this helpful message had been effectively deleted. Definitely an issue for the Booking.com guys to address, not a criticism of the host or property. Remember: not everybody is super tech-savvy. Or ignore that and lose business. Your choice, guys…

Comfortable beds. Good location with convenient store, recreational ground and local park for younger children. Had all kitchen wear you needed. Lots of complementary toiletries. Kind and good communication from hosts. Nice little touches, Christmas tree and decorations.

No instructions how to use Xbox controller, which would have been nice novelty for my daughter. She got the dance game going which was motion activated.

Fantastic property with a great host. Everything was catered for - it is a very well presented home from home. The host was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed including a pint of milk which was very welcome for a brew when we landed. The communication was reactive and really very good. Checking in and out was easy.

Good location and low cost

It needs a decoration and bedding and number of pillows poor.

Good amount of space. Info left on side. Clean and tidy.

The gates at rear for parking were rather heavy and old. Whilst reversing my car, the one gate started to move and clipped my car , scratching the front bumper.

This was a great place for our visit to Eden Camp & the North Yorkshire Moors Railway

The grandkids was better than caravan holiday

Central location, clean and comfortable house but really needed an upgrade in decor, handy for shops and a park across the road for the dogs. ( which were not charged for,)

both gates to the property needed repair especially the rear double gate, some room decor needed doing to cover marks on the walls, garden needs tidying.
