Great base for a Yorkshire adventure

Excellent location to explore the Yorkshire countryside and York. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Everything was great

Excellent communication from the hosts, all the info was spot on and very easy to understand. Having Wifi in the property was great. Lots of nice touches like leaving fresh milk in the fridge and condiments, tea, coffee, squash to use plus shower toiletries. Very clean. My son loved the black room, he'd like to move in! Close to the town centre. I'd book again.

The house was lovely, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again, the board games were a lovely touch and we had hours of fun with them on the evening :) my eldest especially loved the black room, she's autistic and spent most of time in there, the solar lights in conservatory were very pretty on the evening.

The only issues we had (very minor) a lot of the cups and plates were dirty in the cupboard, we couldn't get xbox controllers to work (eldest would of liked to play) think maybe remotes need new batteries, bed in back room was extremely squeaky and woke everytime any of us slightly moved.

Great place to stay with the family as well equipped and comfortable. Instructions for house were excellent.

All good, partner would of preferred curtains in bedroom as with only blinds he woke very early with morning light!

It’s a home from home. Has everything you could possibly need, plus extras. Perfect location for a family with dogs. A dog walk field and an excellent play park within a 5-minute walk. Morrisons Daily across the road. 10-minute walk to the town centre. Gaming room was an added bonus. We would definitely like to stay again. Instructions were comprehensive. Locals were very friendly.

No negative comments. Very happy with our stay.
