"Very clean and comfortable"

House well maintained, plenty of space, very clean (and garden kept nice and tidy, too). Fairly quiet area, with useful Morrisons corner shop across the road.

There seemed to be a shortage of towels - I could only find a single, very large, 'beach' towel

Location was great, Morrisons across the road very convenient, house a great size, arrival instructions were very informative

In desperate need of some TLC and a deep clean, sofa in conservatory although covered with a throw was ripped to shreds, cobwebs all over, mould on windows and some need replacing as blown, garden swing very mouldy, not as the photo shows, back gate used to park the car could collapse at any time, beds not comfy at all.

We were probably the first guests to stay this year as the property could do with a spring clean. Garden was especially untidy

"Favourite Yorkshire Accommodation"

10.0

We love staying here. We stayed with the kids about 3 years ago (I left a nice review then, too--it's wonderful, nothing's changed since). We came back this year and had such a restful weekend. It's lovely to stay in a house that feels like a home, but someone else has cleaned it and made it nice. Also the tap water tastes good, the kitchen has everything you could want--I must have had 40 cups of tea and we never ran out (if we had there's a well-stocked corner shop right across the road). There were instructions for anything that might need them, toiletries and bedding were plentiful, all the appliances work, and I like the decor. If I wanted to stay in a slick modern hotel I would, but I prefer a cosy house where I can bring my dogs and soak in the tub before bed.

This is my fault--I should've messaged ahead of time and said I run hot and please turn the heating off (not on) the day we're due. I'll remember next time we stay here.
