Cottage very cosy and well equipped

Beautiful cottage, very cosy. So close to the local shop.

Quite loud next to main street. Amazed at the amount of traffic in such a small village.

The cottage was very homely, clean and cosy. The location was ideal for our family as we could travel by car to local attractions we wished to visit.

Parking and poor WiFi Not really able to go out in evenings as pubs weren’t always open

Very comfortable and great location, had everything we needed, and would highly recommend it. Owners very helpful and made it an easy process.

Accommodation not what we expected. No parking in the area, finally found parking in a housing estate about 5 mins walk away, would have be better if we had been told up front. Shoes not alllowed in house, would have preferred if aware of this also before booking. Unable to work the cooker, but as we decided to leave after one night die to above and book in elsewhere I didn’t reach out to the host for assistance. Probably my error that I thought I was booking in Cockermouth rather than this village where there was no facilities, and we found very difficult to get a taxi. Overall this wasn’t what we expected therefore disappointed so decided to leave 2 nights early band book another location.
