The Lodge

Amazing location! Hosts were so friendly and helpful, it was -8 degrees when we stayed and we were very kindly offered the warmer suite next door as they had a cancellation. We chose to stay in this lodge and were given logs for the fire and lots of extra little heaters!

It was amazing and the cleanest place we have ever stayed. I would highly recommend the place for a break

Nothing it was perfect

Hosts were exceptional. Took care if us when the snow arrived and made sure we were OK. The property is such a gem.

The location was stunning and the property itself felt like being at home. The lodge had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The hosts Martin and Helen are very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. On arriving there was a welcome pack and a lovely note wishing us a happy Xmas. We cooked Xmas dinner in the lodge and spent the rest of the day in front of the wood burner watching Netflix. Perfect.

The breakfast hamper was only a pack of rolls.

The Lodge was gorgeous inside and out, the location and views are amazing. The design of the Lodge was beautiful and I'd deffo stay here again, next time for longer.

The only thing that slightly was an inconvenience is that the property was missing a few essential items ie scissors, microwave bowl and I did find it a struggle to get my 7 seater through the walled entrance and slightly damaged my car. For bigger cars it's easier to reverse into the drive.

The log burner was lovely but it uses a lot of logs I will take some extra logs next time.
