Downs Gate Cottage

Good location, very close to the promenade, local shops very close, nice area of Eastbourne

House needs some refreshing, front door not easy to open. Toilet only in ensuite upstairs, not in main bathroom so occupant of second bedroom has to use the downstairs toilet. Stairs are very steep.

Location is great. Just at the start of the trek along the cost and a good stroll along the seaside to the center. Great pub just in front of the cottage. Tesco at just 2min.

zakurzone pajęczyny na sufitach ktore pewnie tak sobie wiszą od kilku miesięcy, niedomyte odrapane garnki i patelnie żeby ich użyć musieliśmy zeskrobac zaschnięte jedzenie po poprzednich użytkownikach, a i tak strach było używać ich w takim stanie... Prysznic w wannie nie działał, a odplyw w brodziku przy większej ilości wody się zatykał...

So comfortable, well equipped, spacious, light and airy and in a fabulous location.

Nothing major at all but the front door is very sticky and hard to open sometimes. It didn’t affect our stay, just wanted to mention it.

Does not match the description on the website! Insalubrious: ingrained dirt, grime, cobwebs, growing mould. Kitchen contents are tatty, worn or dirty- we did not cook at all. Insufficient cleaning between guests. Unresponsive host.

Heel huis alleen voor ons, gezellig ingericht, warm welkom door koffie/thee en uitnodigend opgemaakte bedden.

Wespennest bij het raam van de masterbedroom en de badkamer ensuite.

Tolles Haus in Strandnähe. Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Geschäfte, Cafés und Pubs in der Nähe. Ruhige Gegend.
