Trees in the garden want to be cut back. They are really overgrown.Needs some attention to the white painting on the outside of the property. No wardrobe in the main bedroom, only one small one in the twin bedroom.Near to the beach great if you have got children.

On the positive side, the location is definitely good. There are lots of board games. There were so many cobwebs in the house that at least no mosquitoes bit us — instead we got a free spider show.

A very dirty place. Crumbs were left on the kitchen counter from previous guests. The rubber seal in the washing machine was black with mould. The floors and carpets need cleaning. The photos are very outdated, especially the garden. And the absolute worst thing was the shower — it was impossible to regulate the water temperature. Either you could burn yourself or freeze. The children were crying whenever they had to take a shower. You can choose which window you want the smell of the bins coming through — the bedroom or the bathroom. I wouldn’t really recommend it.

Quiet location very near nature reserve and beach. Layout worked really well with a practical, well eqquipped kitchen (eg knives were actually decent to prep food) and good sized lounge with comfy seating for 4. Check in and out was all very easy. Small problem when we arrived was sorted very quickly when host was contacted.

Like many places in Fitties, a bit tired but did the job for us and good value. Long way if you're looking to walk to Cleethorpes although the bus (17, 9) comes quite close within the adjacent caravan park.

"Disappointing. The property seems tired and unloved"

2.0

Quaint property on the historic fitties park. Close to nature reserve and beach Heating was effective

Oven was disgusting with a thick layer of grease and burnt food , wouldn't use it. Carpets and lino flooring stained. Pillows stained. Fridge not working properly. As no electrical items had been PAT tested we weren't sure if it was safe so unplugged it. Had to throw away food. Front gate held shut with a piece of clothes line. Garden overgrown, outdoor furniture green with algae. We were given the wrong code for the key locker so had to wait some time to gain access. Ironing board cover needed fitting, but as there wasn't an iron we didn't bother. Kitchen knives were all blunt and nothing to sharpen them with.

"We cant fault the Chalet it has everything you need for your stay, beds were comfy."

10.0

Location was good very easy to walk to the Beach and the Signal Box Inn. Lots of shops not too far and the Cinema, Bowling etc down the road from the Premier Inn. Buses are regular and take you into Cleethorpes if you dont drive.

The weather wasnt great so we didnt go to the beach this time. You have to be a member to go to the Yacht club so we didnt walk down there.

"Nice seaside break"

10.0

A lovely cosy chalet in a fantastic spot, nice enclosed garden and very convenient for the beach and the bird reserve. Humberston Fitties is a very interesting place and we had an easy stroll to the supermarket and other facilities on the adjacent holiday camp, with a longer walk to the light railway and it's unique pub.

Location was excellent. Grandkids lived the beach!

The property needs a little TLC and updating.
