Bedroom doors can't close and lock. And nearby dog was poo at front of entrance every day.

Lovely interior and lots of great little things provided. The array of board games and little food bits made the place feel homely and comfortable. It’s the little things that count.

A very special hideaway in a very special place! Place to wind down and retreat from the world - the lack of wifi in that respect is very helpful! Beautiful and will 100% be returning. Great hosts and a lovely feel

The hosts were excellent and answered my questions promptly. The bungalow was beautiful and in such a peaceful location, it was the quietest location I've ever been to. My grandson age 7, and I had such a lovely holiday, and it's literally 2 minutes walk to a beautiful secluded beach. There was everything I needed in the bungalow and it wasn't too far away to catch the bus into Cleethorpes.

Nothing apart from I got bit loads from insects at the beach, so if you suffer from insect bites, I would recommend taking repellent. Obviously, this was my bad, not the owner's, everything else was perfect!

Fantastic location at the quiet end of the site only 2 minutes to the best part of the beach. Lovely private garden that is sheltered from any wind so stays warm even when the sun goes down. The log burner in the garden was excellent and it was lovely sitting out at night with it roaring away playing cards with the family or chess with the wife or just enjoying a drink in the peace and quiet. The living room is spacious comfortable and the dvd collection was nice to watch with the kids on a night as the phone signal (we’re on EE) wasn’t good enough for the fire stick. We didn’t use the drive to have more space in the garden but parked round the corner in front of the living room window which was fine. Most of the properties on the fitties are very old which gives them charm and character so don’t expect the luxury of modern static caravans just enjoy the eccentricity of the site as a whole.

There was nothing that spoiled the stay just a few minor things that could easily be rectified to improve the overall experience. On arrival most rooms had a few cobwebs which made it feel like no one had been staying in a while, no big deal but a quick brush round with a duster would get rid of them and on the first night we came in to a couple of tiny slugs on the kitchen worktop. Like I’ve said in the positive section it’s an old property so the ingress of critters is as likely as it is unstoppable and it certainly didn’t make us feel uncomfortable. There were 4 of us but only 3 towels provided, we had brought beach towels so again no big deal just a minor oversight. For me personally the mattress in the main bedroom was a bit old and soft for my back but again that’s a personal preference on my part. As already mentioned the age of the property is a key part of its charm and it’s important to understand this incase you’re expecting the luxury of modern static caravans. One last thing that is totally out of the property owners control was the property opposite and its dog. It wasn’t aggressive at all but the dogs owner obviously got up early of a morning and the dog would bark for a good half hour or so at about 7am with no sign of its owner trying to stop it.
