Convenient location for local facilities.

A bit of a mix-up regarding date of arrival.

The location was ideal. It provided the accommodation we needed

Difficulty in unlocking the conservatory door. Some windows would not open. A bit of routine window and door maintenance needed. It was very hot when we stayed - lovely, but we needed ventilation.

Very close to our family in the area. Great space to spread out and the kids loved the garden. In a great location if you want to go exploring . Lovely quiet location. Welcome tray much appreciated and the extra special touch of Kinder bunnies for the kids.

From start to end the whole holiday experience was exceptional! Our host Georgina sent me a message once I had booked and gave me all the information required and kept in touch during our stay. Thank you so much for helping me make amazing memories with my twin girls they had so much fun The house had a beautiful garden with children play area and sand pit and Georgina very kindly left them a little sticker book upon arrival along with some yummy treats!!! Would definitely recommend a stay here at plum tree cottage it is beautiful ❤️ we will definitely be returning 😄 xxx

Clean and tidy everything that we needed lovely place

Possibly need a blackout blind in the bedrooms as there is a motion activated light which goes on and off at night in the property opposite but nothing to do with the property itself but just a suggestion

the attraction of the property to us was the kids sandpit, toys etc available. toddler loved playing with all the toys! smart TV, kitchen utensils etc provided was great to cook home family meals. cosy lounge and conservatory.

the soap, washing up liquid and toilet roll etc was enough for just a couple days. the soap was on the last dregs. we travelled from London via train and then had a local car, but my point is we couldn't carry all of the bathroom essentials, plus the stuff for two kids and was loathed to buy a pack of 6 loo rolls to just then leave at the accommodation. There was 60% of one full toilet roll for 5 days and 4 people, we asked three times for some more and then an additional toilet roll was given on day 2. Not sure why so stingy in supplies! Asked for shampoo and request was denied and then had to request a hairdryer, which was given 48 hours later. Apparently guests kept stealing hairdryers, but then take a deposit or chain it to the bedroom. Even travel lodge has them. Towels BYO. and then we were told 'because of covid we have to strip our own bedsheets!' Not when i've spent the amount we'd spent on the accommodation and with a baby and toddler in tow, no time for that. Also, what does it mean, because of covid?! I think it's more, they CBA to DIY and using the guise of covid. I mean lets be honest, who likes stripping beds.. Also late check-in and early check-out, so if they're not stripping beds or washing towels then why taking so long. It's annoying as didn't want these little things to taint what was otherwise a lovely stay,
