"Amazing host & great accommodation"

10.0

The host Georgina is exceptional. This was our second visit within a month. Georgina left a card and chocolates for my mums birthday, which was so thoughtful. The property is clean and in a good location. Welcome pack includes milk, juice, bread, butter, tea etc. I'm looking forward to booking the cottage again in the new year. 10/10 recommend.

"Great property close to Rhyl/Towyn"

9.0

The host Georgina was amazing. Very informative and friendly before arrival and during our stay. Welcome pack of milk, juice, bread, butter, tea, biscuits, and Welsh cakes was a lovely touch. The location of the property was good for either Rhyl or Towyn. 1 minute walk to 2 x pubs - The Harbour and The Mayquay. The conservatory was large with access to the garden/lounge, and I imagine in summer this would be a great space to use, although we didn't on our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, and washing machine and everything else you would need to cook meals. The garden area is large and has a covered area for children with a sand pit and toys. There is a patio area from the kitchen with a table and chairs. The beds were comfortable, and bedding was provided. There are 2 single beds made into a double in the main bedroom, and a single bed in the smaller room, there is also a sofa bed in the lounge. The main bedroom has a large wardrobe space, although the single doesn't have any. This wasn't an issue as the main was large enough to share. Creative use of space for a dressing area off the stairs/landing with large mirror, lights, and electricity so perfect for doing your hair and makeup.

I would happily book in the future. There would be a few things that I think could make this property from great to excellent. The lounge to the conservatory doors would benefit from curtains, especially if you were using the sofa bed in the lounge to sleep. Overall, it would feel more private and cosy at night. There is a shared gate/car park you enter. This is followed by another gate that leads down a path to the property/garden gate. I would feel more secure at night if there was a lock on the garden gate or the gate to the path. Thank you for a lovely stay Georgina:)

We oved how homey the house made us feel. My oldest daughter sometimes struggles to settle in at New Places, but she settled fast because she felt comfortable. There were some books and games for the kids to do. My youngest daughter really loved the sandpit outside and the little playhouse that was outside. The house was absolutely immaculate. There were a lot of kitchen appliances that you would use if at home so you don't have to worry that you couldn't cook without something. Whenever I go on holiday wherever it is, I've always had to do a clean in the caravans or chalet, I didn't need to do any cleaning at the cottage. My girls and I are already talking about booking the cottage again next year. This time we would like to stay longer. We couldn't stay longer this time round due to me not being able to get someone to cover my night shifts. The beds were comfortable. There's also a couch that turns into a bed. We were happy that there was internet. The TV is also a smart TV, so it has many apps like netflix and Disney Plus, so if you want to sign in, you can use it. We enjoyed watching a movie on the nights while eating a takeaway. Also, the cottage is close by to asda. It's not far from the beach and the arcades and my girls' favourite place the funfair rides. The buses to ryhl and llandudno are very frequent, so that was good. The girls loved the tablet with a mirror and lights at the top of the stairs so they could do their makeup. There were even plug sockets so they could hair dry their hair as well while sitting there. They were happy that there were full-length mirrors so they could see their full outfits. We definitely can't wait til next year now and come and stay again.

Absolutely nothing to not like. Honestly. We just wished that we had longer than 2 nights.
