Country Cottage Rotorua

The cottage was a separate house from the owner's, offering great privacy. The lady host was incredibly hospitable, giving us a warm tour of the facilities and introducing us to her charming array of pets - a friendly dog, two majestic horses, and some delightful hens. The room had such a warm, homey atmosphere that made our stay special. We particularly enjoyed the thoughtful touch of being able to feed the hens with food provided by the owner before our departure.

The property was very quiet, and conveniently located close to Rotarua. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The horses and chickens on site delighted my children.

I don't generally provide ratings but compelled to rate this outstanding cottage. This property exceeded our expectations in all aspects - Exceptional customer services by the hosts, Cleanliness, Facilities, ambience, space, easy access to city and other tourist spots. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy a quite time in Rotorua especially if you have children. 100/10

Great place to stay with a fantastic host who was very friendly and helpful. The cottage is perfectly located - just far enough from Rotorua to feel out in the country and relax while close enough to be a short drive to its attractions.

Such a lovely cottage that made our trip to Rotorua perfect! We’ve specially loved the time when we could bond with the animals a little bit, because you don’t often get an opportunity to just chill out with horses and ducks. Tracey was great to take the time to meet us and have a chat with us, and the facility itself is beautiful, cosy, and clean, which is just what you need for a short stay 😊
