Kaltech House - Lake Tekapo

House was very nice and location is good. You can get a good view of the lake.

There are four rooms, and the space is incredibly large! The living room and kitchen are exceptionally spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with seasonings provided. There is an indoor garage, a fireplace, and an outdoor barbecue grill. A washing machine and a drying rack are also available. It is close to the city center and Lake Tekapo, making it perfect for stargazing. The entire trip was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Great location and well set out living area

The BBQ gas had run out, and we should have called to let the agent know.

Fabulous views, short walk to town and to the church of the good shepherd. Plenty of space for a large family. Has stairs to bedrooms downstairs main is up stairs. Great to have washer to catch up with clean clothes.

Would be good to have a key for the garage door so you can put the car into the garage.

Excellent location within easy walking distance of the lake front and all amenities. A spacious lounge / kitchen area opening on to a large sunny deck.

The en suite bedroom off the lounge area has limited space and absolutely nowhere to hang any clothes. The downstairs rooms do have a lot of storage space but of little use for those in the master bedroom. There are a lot of steps within the property so something to be aware of if people have mobility issues. There is a washing machine in the garage accessed by an internal door but no dryer.

Good location, plenty of space, quiet location away from the busyness of the main street.

Noise (just walking around) from the top floor carries to the bottom floor. No room in the top floor master room to put your bags. Would have been nice to have a few kitchen amenities like oil, salt and pepper, baking paper etc

Location, views & use of outdoor space in the summer time. Lovely modern home.

Dishwasher leaks so after we used it the first time we didn’t use it. Looks like it’s been happening for a while as a couple of floor boards have lifted due to water swelling the wood. Advised them of this upon check out.
