Every thing we needed for a lovely stay

Peaceful secluded location with an amazing view. The property was larger than expected yet maintained a cosy feel. The property owner was very friendly and welcoming.

The property was fully equipped with the essentials, very modern and upgraded from the inside. The deck to the view was amazing and the hot tub at night under the starts was an incredible setup! Sharyn was also very friendly and attentive to our requests. Definitely coming back.

Breakfast food left at the property was great thank you; the view from the Folly over the Downs was fantastic.

I’ve recommended the Folly to family & friends. The views are simply breathtaking. The peace & quiet allows you to recharge. There is a wonderful walk (Hangers Way) taking you down through Ashford Hangers Nature reserve, through Steep, into Petersfield & then back. The hot tub is a welcome sight when you do get back from the walk. The dark sky area means there’s very little light pollution Perfect for star gazing.

There were quite a few spiders around 😂 but what do you expect with doors & windows open. Unfortunately we had a power cut on the morning we left meaning only one of us had a shower & breakfast ended up in the bin. However we’d been warned about unexpected power cuts & Josie’s in Petersfield does a fantastic breakfast.
