"Great stay"

8.0

Great place to stay, was a great location With lots of pub’s restaurants, shop and train station all in walking distance. Walking distance to a nice stream for the kids to paddle in too. Lovely house and would definitely go back.

We couldn’t get the tele to work but I should have messaged them when we were there and maybe they could have helped. But a week with no tele was fine as there were games there that we played

"Lovely house, you really can’t beat the location!"

8.0

Location was so perfect, would definitely stay at the house again. It was an easy stay, very clean and had everything we needed, plenty of plates/mugs etc. Nice little courtyard and bbq which we enjoyed

The house was great but felt like it needed a bit of TLC, some patch up jobs which could have looked a bit better

"Excellent property, which is very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend!!"

10.0

Excellent location in the village and a two-minute walk to one of our favourite pubs - result! The house is much bigger on the inside and we were really impressed with the size of all the rooms. The kitchen is extremely well appointed, lots of towels provided, lovely bathroom with great water pressure and hot temperature of water from the boiler. Super friendly neighbours as well, which was lovely. Lovely touches such as DVDs that the kids can watch and also some books for them - they loved their stay here (as did we!). The host (Chris) was extremely responsive to my messages prior to us arriving and he/she gave very clear instructions on how to find/open the key box, where to park, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone staying here.

The house itself was extremely good and there is very little not to like. Only slight criticism is that the Sky box did not like picking up ITV or channel 4, which was a shame as the Euros were on. In fairness, we didn't raise this with the host (so no opportunity for them to fix it) and the sky box probably just needs a retune. The normal kitchen bin lid is broken as well - not horrendously so, but again, something small that doesn't cost a lot to fix. Other than these two very minor points, I don't have anything bad to say about the place.

"Passable"

5.0

The location was smashing. The neighbourhood was safe and friendly. The bed was comfy.

It was a little grubby. The kitchen, in particular, needed a good scrub out. Even though there is a dishwasher, things were sticky . A bit greasy smelling. The radiator in the living room is broken. So it was chilly. The electric fire was not powerful enough to heat the room.

"Good property in great location"

7.0

Spacious property, great location, walking distance to village and train station and easy walk into the New Forest.

Radiator downstairs leaked, kettle leaked and cutlery wasn't great (some of it flimsy) Unfortunately my son is allergic to dogs and so we needed to hoover the furniture. We found hoovers but they all needed emptying and cleaning.
