The mattress in one of the rooms needs to be replaced. It has a sink hole in the middle.

The Blue Villa was spacious and clean, perfect for our group of 3. It was close to Joshua Tree National Park and within walking distance to many restaurants.

Only good thing is the location

The place was very dirty, everything looks old, there is a big stain in the blanket in the bedroom, microwave was dirty, windows and floor are dusty. Heater in bedroom didn’t work, The place probably hasn’t been deep cleaned in ages. Not recommended at all.

It was easy to find, close to restaurants and coffee. Easy to get to pioneer town and Integratron. Quick answer and solution when we couldn’t find the code for the key.

It was okay. Has a lot of potential. Heaters didn’t work in rooms. Living room heater did a decent job but you had to keep bedroom doors open. Needs to be updated, holes in ceiling and just kind of not totally updated. Has potential but still needs updating. Coffee maker but no coffee. Got an email but I scoured it for the code to get the key and couldn’t find it. For 210/night seemed like it should have been nicer. Needed nightstand lights and outlets to plug in devices near the bed. Toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall, toilet didn’t flush great unless you held it down a while. Comfortable enough for one night.

Very quiet. Clear instructions and easy to get keys from lockbox. Helpful local attractions in book on coffee table. Comfortable enough living room furniture. Very close to everything in JT.

Lights outside the door didn’t work, making it hard to find the lock in the dark. Driveway where we were asked to park is narrow, and there are uneven rocks along the side of the house, making it tricky for our elderly family member to get out of the car without tripping. Table lamp in the living room didn’t work. Beds were soft for our tastes, but others who like soft beds might be happy! Heater didn’t work, so it was 61 degrees in the morning and we couldn’t warm the place up. Thermostat did nothing. Keurig coffee machine in kitchen, but no coffee pods, so no coffee. Heater fan in bathroom made metal on metal noise so we had to turn that off too. I walked down the hall in bare feet from the bedroom to the kitchen, and that short distance was enough to get very dirty feet. With that, and having to strip the beds, and take out the trash, I’m afraid we did not tip housekeeping. Instructions clearly stated to contact host for issues, but no one thing was enough for us to call. If we’d stayed longer, we would have called about the lack of heat.
