Painter's Cottage

Location great, very close to the main part of Matlock Bath. The dining room was cosy and the original floor was a great feature. Beds are very comfortable and the views are lovely. Welcoming little cottage, would be even better if the decor was more in keeping with the age of the house.

The photos didn't really represent the house at present. The outside area at the rear had no seating. The toilet flush was temperamental.

Comfy bed. Clean and tidy cottage. Amazing view from window in lounge and bedroom.

No tea coffee in spite of leaving containers on a tray and milk in the fridge. No washing up liquid or kitchen roll. No shop nearby to buy these things . Car parking difficult. Outside area scruffy

Fantastic countryside view from the front room and from the front bedroom, lovely main double aspect bedroom, fab views, light, bright and huge bed

Kitchen cooking equipment not great, didn't like the toaster and kettle being in the dining room, toast set off the smoke alarm

It was just perfect! The house is beautiful and so is the view. Couldn't recommend this place more. It is ontop of a step hill. So if you want to work on those glutes this is the place for you.

I had some issues booking with my Amex. Sometimes it accepted and sometimes it didn't.

Great views, warm house, comfy beds, good size table, lovely house, my friend wanted to stay longer in the house, very relaxing

Outside abit untidy, shower & toilet needs attention, wine and UHT milks were off but nice offering, small room smelt abit smoky and you cant open windows

Good location and price. Comfy beds. Staff were very helpful when our daughter managed to lock us out the house.

Bathroom wasn’t clean and lots of rubbish out the front of the house from next door.
