Whare Manu Boutique Cottage

It was so quiet and peaceful, exactly what I was looking for. Lovely views of the beach, such a cozy feel with the fire going, snuggled up on the couch in the evening. The late checkout (1100) is an added bonus, no need to rush out when leaving.

It was perfect.

The spikes onto of the fence next to the bath worried the missus a bit 🤣🤣🤣

An exceptional property with everything you need. Near to a stunning beach. We loved watching the birds feed.

Nothing really. One might say it’s a bit away from amenities down a gravel track but that made it more quiet and special in our opinion.

Have stayed in many NZ baches & this was amongst the best, with some very classy & stylish fittings. The wood carving & bird feeder added extra interest. Easy walk to the lovely sandy Omaui beach & a terrific bush walk up through the reserve. Gorgeous pansies & Lilly's in the room on arrival

Be aware there's about 4kms of dusty gravel road into Omaui

The location was very private, surrounded by garden with a comfortable deck with a view to the beach. There were lovely wooden sculptures, including a beautiful handcrafted bird feeder that brought the Tuis to visit and entertain us. The accommodations were very comfortable and well-equipped. Great stargazing from the tubs on the deck!
