Whare Manu Boutique Cottage

Whare Manu cottage was the perfect landing spot following a visit to Stewart Island. 15 min from Bluff ferry was the ideal distance to drive, and what a beautiful property we encountered. The hosts have create a haven with water views and smartly appointed cottage design. The accommodations are really special and include handmade chocolates, soaps and comfy robes. If you find open booking dates, grab them without delay.

Well appointed and perfect for a short stay

Proximity to windows of your house next door with uncertainty as to whether there is privacy or not. We are from INVERCARGILL and the price was really huge for us and seemed disproportionately high relative to the local market.

Beautiful peaceful place and the on deck baths were amazing alongside the tuis and different bird life going to the feeder, absolutely stunning nice n clean cottage! Definitely a place to unwind and relax for couples! We will be back 😊

This place is so tranquil. Perched on higher ground with views of the Omaui beach, visited by the fabulous tui birds and nestled amongst the flowers of the garden. Bluff is just 15 min drive away, and Omaui beach offers peaceful strolls. Amy and John are wonderful hosts who add personal touches to the experience - fresh flowers, chocolates and bath bombs. Even the beautiful wooden garden decorations and bird-feeder were hand-carved by John.The outdoor bathing experience under the stars is a must. A truly therapeutic place to unwind and take in the nature.

Such a unique wee boutique accommodation. Loved all the extra special touches ....chocolates, bath bombs, room diffuser. The shower was amazing and the outdoor baths very luxurious

What an awesome cottage! We wish we had stayed for more than one night. It was so comfortable, clean and well maintained. The view of the beach was amazing, as was the closeness to said beach. Very well stocked, had everything we needed. Great location along the southern scenic route, close to conviences but felt secluded. We would love to stay again, highly recommend!

Carport practical but tired

What a beautiful whare, whare Manu Boutique cottage is, it has everything we needed plus more, the place is extremely well set out, privacy, comfy bed, shower is amazing, outside tubs a amazing even in the colder weather like we had, and what an experience to be able to watch the Tui bird's feeding off the nectar.

Everything was perfect ☺️
