Charming and luxury retreats on our farm

Very well equipped cottage with a very good layout.

A beautiful cottage with a very high quality interior. Hosts were friendly and helpful, providing a high chair for our baby and recommending child-friendly restaurants in the local area.

Outdoor space is out the front of the cottage and is therefore a little overlooked by the hosts’ other holiday cottage next door.

Sarah was a wonderful host, helpful and engaged at just the right level. The cottage was new, clean, cosy, warm and comfortable. Many people mention 'luxury', but this truly was luxurious - comfy mattresses, gorgeous sheets, large Egyptian cotton bath sheets. Blankets on sofa. Lovely oak floors. Fireplace ready to go which we didn't need to use. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathrooms were great (nice to have 2 loos). Gardens were lovely - in full bloom during our stay. Sarah gifted us (on arrival) with milk, cake, wine and beers. Lots of lovely walks straight off the property, and my kids enjoyed the farm animals. We could help ourselves to fresh eggs every day! Highly recommend, hope we will stay again in future.

We stayed for a wedding and it was a fantastic location, beautiful cottages, done to a very high spec, with everything we needed and a gorgeous welcome package! We especially loved the chicken coups and the fact we could collect fresh eggs! The hosts couldn’t do enough for us and we didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend.

Our stay at The Bothy was perfect. One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Sarah and Deepak were the perfect hosts. Lots of advice about places to eat and visit etc. The cottage was stunning. Finished to a high standard and exceptionally clean. The kids loved being able to visit the animals and collect their own eggs for breakfast. We will definitely be booking for a longer stay.

The beds were comfy, it all felt really spacious, we liked being so close to all the farm animals. The owners left us eggs, milk, a cake and some wine which was lovely! They were really kind showing our children the farm, the horses and cats, where to look for eggs and feeding the sheep.

Fantastic farm location, modern, clean and well equipped

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating with our 2 grandchildren showing them around the farm The quality of the furnishings, decorating and appliances were excellent. We could not fault the bothy.

We found the master bedroom bed slightly to small for us, but then we have a huge bed at home.
