Dandaleith Cottage No.1

Lovely decor and furniture. Great location and lovely deck out the front.

The cottage was a bit tired and needed some TLC. One of the bedrooms didn't have a blind so we had to hang a blanket. Very hot and the heating kept coming on.

Idyllic cottage in an ideal location with walking routes down the Spey into Aberlour and driving distance to the lovely coast and more inland locations.

Comfy and finished to a high standard the cottage was beautiful and perfect for the four of us.

Would have been nice to have a bath but that’s just being picky. The location is not in Craigelacchie and does not have a path to it so need to use your car all of the time.

The layout and the decoration

The cottage could have been really nice, but so many things (inc. the downstairs bathroom) was broken or missing.

The sink in the downstairs bathroom was leaking upon arrival, no contact at all with the host, who couldn't even be bothered to call me back. I had to fix the leaking tap myself, or the whole downstairs area would have been uninhabitable.

beautiful cottage. We are a family of six and for very nicely into the cottage. The kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals and enjoy relaxation and hanging out together. Pluses were the freezer and ice trays! The host was extremely helpful and responsive. A relaxing getaway.

Location was overall amazing, enjoyed my stay a lot.

A hair dryer at the venue would be great We walked along the highway to get to the village, if there's a better way for walking, would be great to leave som instructions
