Modern Airy Chalets on popular California Sands Holiday Park - short walk to beach, Nr Norfolk Broads & Great Yarmouth

Staff communication was very good and helpful. Easy to find. Comfortable. Clean. Modern decor and furniture. Within a stones throw of the park's facilities. £10 pre loaded in the electric meter. Electric cheap and not set on a high rate. We used £5 for the whole week.

It had all we needed for our stay in Norfolk. Close to the beach, broads and other great landmarks. There is a lovely bakery (Scratby bakery) about 10 mins walk away.

Doors were a bit squeaky. Nothing some WD40 won’t fix.

The lady that I spoke to regarding our booking was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The chalet was lovely and and roomy. The beds were very comfortable. The food from the chip shop was lovely, The guy in the club that was behind the bar was really nice and friendly. We found a nice pub in Great Yarmouth that accepted dogs.

The chalet did have a family of spiders living in the kitchen and the bathroom, and it was cleaned at the end of May, 3 weeks before we went in. Apart from that, it was clean. We couldn't take our small dog in the club on site and had to sit outside, which was okay, but there was no shade and not many tables. A lot of the beaches were down a hill. We tried to take our dog on the beach, but with us both being disabled we would have struggled to walk back up the hill, plus there weren't many beaches that we could take her on. We did struggle to find somewhere we could take the dog in so we could have something to eat when we went out. Unfortunately we had to cut our holiday short.

Everything. Chalet was beautiful, host was amazing and location waas perfect all for an affordable price
