Casa Verde Vacation Garden Home

Tucked away from the street, down a tunnel of overarching trees, the house feels private, bright, and breezy. The owners and staff are friendly and accommodating. It is an easy walk to restaurants and beaches, and the views of the ocean and neighborhood are inviting.

The location on the quiet side of town with a beautiful view of the bay was relaxing. The property was very clean and well maintained with a lot of thought put into the amenities.

The view from the Balcony and air conditioning in the bedroom. The calm and tranquillity. The position was good to access beach and trails.

The room and bathroom were a bit outdated. I did not like that the living quarter were separated from the sleeping area and you needed to have your keys with you to enter them.

Beautiful location in quiet setting with harbor views. Very peaceful and the only thing you hear are the seals. Ashleigh and Geovanny were very accomodating and a pleasure to work with. Awesome Experience!

Lovely, spacious house close to town and right next to the beach and interpretation center. We spent most of our time on the terrace and had lovely breakfasts and sunset dinners. We appreciate the friendly host, Ashleigh - she has been very helpful and kind, the daily cleaning service, the comfortable beds and the beach towels !! We spent 5 days in San Cristobal and from the house, we walked to Puerto Baquerizo beach via cerro tijeretas (highly recommended) - had the beach to ourselves and swam with many turtles... on the way back we stopped to snorkel at Darwin bay and chilled with the sea lions on punta carola (we preferred this beach to Playa Mann because its more spacious and there were fewer people). on the other days we visited puerto chino (public bus) and la loberia on our own (taxi) and did the 360 tour with Big Fish tour - ALL highly recommended!

Everything was excellent

The main bedroom was spacious and nice. We saw the best sunsets from the big balcony. It was nice to be able to cook your own meal in the kitchen. Ashleigh is very friendly and helped us out with things to do and provided us fresh eggs from their own chickens!

The beds in the second bedroom were a bit hard. The old airconditioning there makes a lot of noise. Also, there were insects in and around the house: mainly caterpillars, ants, spiders, and moths. At the beginning of our stay we were a bit overwhelmed by them, but we soon learned to live with them and it was all fine. Besides that, the neighbors are building a new house that blocks half of the beautiful view to the ocean. We were not bothered by noise, but the builders looked directly onto our balcony and were always checking us out when walking by. This shall be temporary and was not that big of a problem.

We loved sitting out on the veranda and enjoying the view. It was an easy walk to the beach and to restaurants and grocery stores. The house is very spacious.
