"Great Location for Exploring Historic Town"

Fantastic views from the house over to the castle ruins and river. Very handy for walking into Barnard Castle. House is spacious and airy with good facilities.

Not suitable for people with mobility issues. There is no car parking outside the property - it is adviseable to park in an adjoining side road 150 yds away. There is some road noise from nearby traffic.

Great location with beautiful views of river. very short walk to centre, yet very quiet. Clean, bright and airy - beautifully finished/decorated throughout.

Nothing really. The uneven stairs down to the lounge meant we didn’t take any food or drink down, so didn’t spend time there - but we were warned about them … and this is an old, listed building, so no complaints!
