Unique house on riverside - castle views - Barnard Castle

Such a lovely home, great location.great river view.

Some road noise in front bedroom and blackout blinds required on rear bedroom,sunlight beams in from sun up.

Stunning, clean, well maintained property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Tastefully decorated. It’s literally on the river with large windows with views of the river and Barnard Castle. Free on road parking in about 50 meters away.

Location was beautiful, right on the river. A stone’s throw from town. Jut perfect.

Bit chilly on the lower floor, but the heating helped with that. We went in a lot anyway and it was a perfect base.

The location was outstanding Couldn’t access the key box when we arrived, had to wait for assistance for 90 minutes, but was NOT the fault of the owner.

Would loved to have had a king size bed

The views from every room were beautiful, from castle grounds to river views. The house was beautiful, with 3 lovely bedrooms and a massive bathroom.

There wasn't one part of the house we didn't enjoy. The walk into town is lovely but a bit steep with a wheelchair.

The large multipurpose kitchen/ dining room overlooking the river was very welcoming.
