CASA DO MAR

We fell in love with the accommodation at CASA DO MAR already on our first visit. A small white house with two terraces seems to be suspended directly over the ocean. An evening glass of wine on the terrace with a view of the sun going to sleep in the waves. This is Casa do Mar.

Perfect accommodation. Incredible location with a stunning view. Had every utensil and pieces of equipment you would need when staying away. The apartment is decorated and furnished to a high standard, it's comfortable and is rather homely. A great bar called Joe's bar around the corner and a shop a 5 minute drive away which has everything you need.

A beautiful apartment set on 2 floors with the most stunning views. All about the location but also so comfortable and relaxing with everything you need in a peaceful area.

it’s a bit tired in places now and needs a little bit of a refresh in places with paint work, the awning was broken. would be handy to have a bin in the kitchen and bathroom

wow! just wow! it’s super clean and comfy with a lot of love to detail! the view is breathtaking and waking up to the sound of the sea incredible. definitely will come back here! the small village of Jardim do mar is just the prettiest of the whole island🥰

Casa do Mar…wow!! Absolutely LOVED our stay. It was perfect all around! Loved the SOUND of the waves, the VIEWS, the LOCATION. We are retired and full-time travelers for 5 years now. Staying all over the world. This place is at the top of our list and we will return. Great little PRIVATE studio. Nice kitchen. We cooked most of our meals here. Great bathroom with plenty of hot water in the shower. All around, clean, tidy, well stocked home. The bed was very comfortable and simply DREAMY to lay in bed, sliding door open and see and hear the Atlantic. And the most special was the cats who visited us. Made our hearts full! We even named them. We enjoyed the little village of Jardim do Mar. It has two little restaurants, a small market and a great promenade to walk. Plenty of free parking and easy walking access to Casa do Mar. It was so fun leaving our ‘signature’ on the outside walls with our handprints. what a great idea. Thanks you hosts for sharing this special sanctuary with us. You definitely have something special here.

Difficult key access, needed a lot of fiddling for both doors Sink plug needed sorting.

the view is amazing, very nice equipped kitchen, the host was super friendly and willing to help with everything.

during winter vawes are huge and it is like sleeping next to a washing machine. right next to the house it is the sport where everybody comes go take a picture. if you dont have a car it is quite problematic to get around the area.

Stunning location in a beautiful village. View and sounds of the ocean are amazing. Apartment is very well equipped and spotlessly clean and hope to return some time soon.
