Fabulous Stay - 4 Bedroom House, sleeps 9, ideal for Business and Contractors, Free parking

The location was good for Alton Towers about a 35 minute drive away. The amount of rooms and various bed sizes, suited our needs.

The property was a good size

The host didn’t know we were arriving until I had to ring. There were weird stains all over the walls and what seemed to be white bodily fluids on the pillows and couch. Missing cupboard doors. Heating wouldn’t turn off so if you like to be cooked alive in the night, this place is for you! If you also like old cheese stuck to the grater, then this is also the perfect place. The garden space didn’t match the photos. Half of the lights didn’t work, so unless you’re a vampire or eat carrots, don’t bank on being able to see in the night. Leaking chimney/fireplace which added a nice serene, dripping noise through the night. The bedding added a nice stars in your eyes effect, if you sit on the beds, you’ll automatically be surrounded by dust smoke and come out as your favourite singer.

We liked the layout and that it could sleep all of us and the beds were comfortable. We also liked that the accommodation provided some towels, dinner set and cutlery, a washing machine, dishwasher which was handy and also a clothes rack so we can dry the clothes. It was also clean and nicely decorated, the living room was nice and spacious and free internet and parking.

That it only had one bathroom and the toilet seat was broken and the shower didn't stay hot the bath also had a crack in it and one of the kitchen cupboards was broken

Liked the closeness to shopping facilities. Also, close to the centre of town. Quiet area. Having stayed at this sweet house before, I went back again this October. It felt even more homely than my first visit. Updated decor, clean and is thoughtfully laid out. The kitchen has modern appliances, the bedrooms are not only a good size but are also comfortable. The bathroom has both a bath and shower. There is even a small yard at the back for smoking or sun bathing. Also the communication and vibe of the owner is really excellent. My only issue was that a few dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent would be welcome. That said, I will definitely be going back.

Perfect location for a family trip to Alton Towers

Big enough for all 9 of us, 6 adults and three children 6 and under. Super comfortable beds, plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. And close to Alton Towers which was purpose of our stay, middle of the road travel wise as daughter son in law and two grandchildren live in Leeming, other son wife and grandson live In Tewksbury, and we live in south wales.

One bathroom a bit of a struggle, need baking trays for pizza/pies etc and no grill in the grill pan. But very small issues. We knew there was only one bathroom.

Host quick to reply to issues. Double beds are comfy. Quiet street despite lots of houses around.

One bed was broken, staples sticking out, oven part of cooker wasn’t working which meant we had to spend money on take away food despite already having brought food. Not enough cutlery but cleaner dropped some off. Overall house is basic (which would be fine) but needs upgraded and deep cleaned in places

The place was nice and decorative. The rooms are spacious and it was nice that we had entertainment in the living room. The temperature was very regulated too.

The rooms were very dusty and there were hair all over the bedding. The downstairs bedroom had the most significant amount of dust and dirt. The bedroom with three single beds were uncomfortable to sleep in and it was tough for 9 people to use one bathroom and toilet.
