Vibrant Spring Street with Garden

Very comfortable place to stay with big rooms and a great garden out the back. Fantastic facilities and it's in a really good area for visiting the beach and exploring Brighton, as well as close to the conference centre. Great communication with the host as well.

I had to work from home for one day and it was really noisy at lunchtime (when the nearby school is on lunch). It was really quiet at night of course, so this is just something to bear in mind if you're planning to work there.

De ligging is ideaal; winkels, restaurants, bus, huurfietsen en vooral de zee. Het huis is ruim en goed voorzien. Goede keuken, goede bank om te relaxen. De kamers zijn ook prima, netjes ingericht met veel kleur. Dat hoort natuurlijk bij Brighton. De staf (Renny) was erg behulpzaam, voor en tijdens ons verblijf. Hij reageerde super snel en deed er alles aan om ons verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken.

We wisten van tevoren dat parkeren in centraal Brighton lastig zou worden. Het is een oud stadje met smalle straten en het is heuvelachtig. Voor niet teveel geld kun je via een parkeerapp eenvoudig voor je hele verblijf een parkeerplaats reserveren. Wij hadden een plekje in Hove voor £ voor een hele week. 7 min met een huurfiets, 5min terug met de auto. En de auto heb je eigenlijk toch niet nodig in Brighton. Alles kan te voet, met een huurfiets of met de bus.

Location was perfect x. House was so clean and smelt fresh x. Beds were really comfy and kitchen had everything we needed x. Lovely touch of jam in the fridge too x x

Nothing, stairs to top floor are steep but that’s the house and made it quirky x

We had a great stay! The properties location is fantastic and it is well equipped with everything you may need, well thought out. The beds are very comfortable and good size rooms, check in was smooth and the host is easily contactable and helpful, would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Brighton :)

The property was really nice and well furnished, the decor is really lovely, though starting to look a little worn in places and perhaps needs a lick of paint. There was a selection of books and games to use which would keep you entertained on a rainy day, we were lucky to have great weather and were out all of the time. The kitchen was well equipped with absolutely everything we needed for our weekend stay.

The host was easily accessible when we had trouble with the water/heating, he talked us through it on the phone. The host got grumpy when a sign was (accidently) removed from the back door and not replaced in it's exact position. We were also blamed for rubbish spilling out of black bags on to the street and despite me explaining it wasn't us he didn't believe us and took money from our deposit for extra cleaning. The catch on the freezer door got broken and he initially tried to charge us for a replacement fridge however, after some negotiating he sourced the broke part and it was repaired as opposed to replaced. I thought this was a fair outcome.
