Central Portland Street with Free Parking

Well equipped house in a great location - had everything we needed for a stay

It literally is going from home to another home! The location is lush, Renny what a lovely host! Didn’t make me feel bad when I asked about 100 questions 😂 would 100% stay again!

The central location of the house is ideal for everything the city centre has to offer: you can walk from the front door in just a few minutes to the pubs and restaurants, the pier and seaside, the Pavilion and museum/art gallery, and the railway station. Despite that, the road which is one-way is really pretty quiet, and the car parking space is 50m or so across the road and seemed secure. The house is on 3 levels, some of the stairs to the top floor are quite steep. It was warmly heated, the wifi worked fine, and the rooms were all large enough for our group of 4. The outside sitting area accessed by French windows next to the dining table would be nice to have the use of in warmer weather. Renny was always helpful and attentive.

Really only that we had the misfortune during our stay to experience the kitchen electrics being tripped by the dishwasher over the Christmas period when help from an electrician was not available. No doubt Renny has sorted it!

This house looked quite small as you entered but the open plan layout was great with plenty of space for our group. Large sofa area. It also had a lovely courtyard garden, which would be a bonus in the summer and gave us the feeling of space Bedrooms were all of a good size, nicely decorated with comfortable beds. The host was extremely helpful going over and above to help with our arrival and was happy for us to used the parking space to finish our shopping on the last day Location was great for Lanes, Pavillion, Brighton Centre and lively pubs and restaurants. That said the house was quiet at night. There were lots of nice extras like tea, coffee & milk, rugs for snuggling on the sofa, extra sets of key, secure parking and Christmas decorations which was lovely.

We really couldn't fault the property and will certainly book again. Probably the best accommodation we have stayed at during our annual visit to Brighton

The location is excellent. A few minutes (max) walk from central Brighton. The layout of the accommodation was spot on for our needs. The allocated, off street parking is a huge bonus.
