Clovelly House Relaxed Family Coastal Home

A lovely house in a great part of town with bars, shops and walks all a few paces from the front door. Most rooms en suite so for a large group it is ideal.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. I wa expecting parking to be a problem as there was only one dedicated space but the instructions for car parks and advice for dropping off were really helpful.

Great for large group .Location was excellent

Not very accessible for cars .Having to park in car park .Little things like not enough Cutlery ,Top oven definitely didn’t work even saying to staff 9 of us couldn’t work it .But they said it did .And not enough Frying pans for large group .

No toilet on 1st floor

A well positioned house within a 2 minute walk to shops bars and restaurants. The house was comfortable and clean and the beds very good.

Maybe a little cold in places but little fan heaters were provided

Really great, spacious house right in the centre of town

Only 1 thing! The front door knob is very close to the door frame and 2 of us got our fingers jammed in the door frame - which was extremely painful and we both have cuts and bruises.

Beautiful house and very convenient location. The big dining table was perfect for the extended family to sit around. Good bedrooms for all family members, the bonus being that everyone had their own bathroom. The beds were very comfy.

Some of the showers were not heating up, so people were having lukewarm showers, unfortunately.

Very nicely furnished, comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen very well equipped. Good instructions for how to operate everything: excellent guide to the whole place. All worked well for a family gathering of 11 people of all ages. Free parking very close by although not at the house itself.

Didn't use the single private parking area as the entrance to the space was pretty narrow and at an angle, and husband was afraid of scratching the car: but plenty of free parking elsewhere close by. (We had 3 cars between us anyway for 11 people!) A second twin room might have suited our particular group better than 4 doubles and one twin, but we managed.

Beautiful house in a wonderful little gem of a town. Lots to see and do ,lovely unusual shops and plenty of eating places with good food and drink . The curfew is a must,hidden gem,. Lovely craft,book and clothes shops. Friendly people and magnificent scenery.so much history in one place. We've been to Berwick upon Tweed lots of times, my husband's family came from the area and we are never disappointed.

There was nothing to dislike.
