Pier Plain By The Sea

Lovely property with everything you could possibly need (and hot tub an added bonus). Only stayed one night for a show at the Pavilion but would definitely come back and stay longer.

Easy to find the place where I had to pick up the keys. Wished that dis not need to go back and drop the keys to the reception tho.

Cleanliness. Ita seems that the the cleaning has been rushed. As an example where the toilet papers has been places has been full of hairs. If I go to the top of the stairs where the rooms has splits in two lots of hairs. Definitely the stairs hasn't been moped in a while. Also as we came without dog as soon we came in a kitchen it was a weird smell. Like a wet dog or something didn't like that.

The property was well thought out and good for a few nights by the sea. The hot tub was good as well as the tvs in each room from a relaxing holiday.

There were ants in the kitchen on arrival. We reported this. Later that evening we found ants in our food and in the worktop. We had to throw food away. We reported it. Maintenance arrived and put any traps down. We explained the above and asked for commentary late check out. This was unable to be achieved but also no compensation offered. Last day came down to ants on our food again, in the cupboards. Reported it. Was told this happens in the summer. Unhappy with this result after discussions had.

Had everything we needed for our stay and the location was brilliant.

Sadly the outside space really let it down. Most definitely could do with a good jet wash and the table and parasol could do with being replaced. If it was cleaner outside I do think we would go back again also because it was so dirty it put us off using the hot tub. Was such a shame as the actual house was lovely. Wouldn’t recommend people old of with a walking disability to stay here as the stairs are very very steep. Even the dogs had trouble going up and down.
