Pier Plain By The Sea

Lovely location, perfectly situated near Gorleston Beach! Charming property, with everything you could possibly need! A really enjoyable weekend!

The WiFi was a bit temperamental upstairs and worked best in only the living room, as people not in our phones it wasn’t too much of a problem just something that was noticed when trying to book tickets for something. The Cliff hotel was super busy and did unfortunately have no parking when we returned from a day trip to Yarmouth.

Nice size bedrooms and lounge. Modern and tidy. Bed comfy and very nice clean sheets. The t effectively had 3 bedrooms each with largest suite so good if you had 3 couples.

Over full bins and rubbish right outside front door was really unpleasant to entrance. Window to main bedroom didn’t open at all. Lots of small decorative issues that really should be maintained. Stair case to upstairs very steep.

Good location, and the hot tub was nice. Property was Clean and had everything needed for our short stay. Appreciated the towels and toiletries. Being on a main road i thought it would be noisy, but it was peaceful. Showers were lovely and refreshing.

Parking was along the road and it wasn't that easy to find a space when we arrived. The stairs are extremely steep in the property so I personally wouldn't have small children there. Hot tub could do with being undercover in case it's raining (it was) and then you can still get to enjoy it on your stay. We had issues with the TV, we couldn't pick anything up on it (not a massive issue as we didn't go away to watch TV)! Just thought I'd mention it. Could do with a mini freezer in the property if you were staying longer for ice and ice creams and lolly's etc

Pretty cottage with penty of clean linen, towels and crockery .

Cottage was generally clean, but dog hairs remained on furniture and the floors. So whilst sure floors had been swept doubtful that they had been mopped. Cottage definitely not for anyone with restricted mobility. Stairs very steep and also more stairs to access back garden area.

Very close to the beach and shops, easy walking distance.

Its on a VERY busy road junction. My bedroom at front of house, so lots of traffic noise and difficult to sleep. Also across from a pub, so usual noise from a pub expected. A lot of poverty in the area/ run down. A front gate onto street would be safer.

Well equipped, hot tub was a bonus.

A little tired and needing repair in places. Sofa very uncomfortable.
