New 2 bed holiday home with decking in Rockley Park Dorset near the sea

Clean, tidy & well situated

Bedding was obviously clean but did smell musky. Everything else but no tea cloth so only silly issues.

Nice location. The bedding and cutlery were clean at least and had most utensils and spare bedding and most rooms. Just carpet, furniture and few other bits not up to standard.

The wifi didn't work the whole stay. I contacted the owner / manager of caravan via the message feature on Booking.com.Straight away. They were not just unhelpful, but off hand and rude. It put added stress and spoilt things. I asked for some kind of compensation, even if not what I suggest( initiallyIasked for £ 10 a day for the inconvenience and fact that one of the reasons I chose here was wifi. I had to use near all my mobile data to just do a few things like email family to say I arrived safely etc . I knew that might be a bit much but expectingthem to barter down I figured its a start ) , they could of offered numerous other options , even a small token for free coffee or something would of been appreciated, but nothing and in the end they stopped replying the day before we left. The caravan wasn't great. The furniture and carpets needed a good steam clean. There wasn't enough shower gel or soap in bathroom Not adequate mats for entrance of caravan. only mat left outside so all the wet got in.. The bed was uncomfortable. The cafe didn't have a working coffee machine the whole week. They also didn't have any of the non alcoholic cocktail/ kids juice options. The attitude of the person I spoke to on messenge and other things mentioned put me off coming back. I don't have much money and am disabled. This break was supposed to be a nice experience but it was spoilt . I suggest you train staff in customer service and just generally politeness. Also fix things and have basics available in coffee / bar . I know it was out of season but come on !. Not even any coffee or fruit juice cartons is ridiculous. Didn't eat there. Was put off by the rest of experience. Plus my partner had an overpriced hot chocolate which said wasn't worth it so didn't want to waste money on eating there if even the drinks aren't good.

Very central location but not in the least bit noisy. So close to the main entertainment facilities which was very handy. The caravan was well equipped and clean.

There was nothing to dislike about the place our only criticism was all the rooms had been closed off when we arrived and the towels that had been left on the bed seemed to be damp and had caused a bit of an odour but once we had dried them by the radiator it was all fine. Perhaps it would be better to leave the air to circulate when the property is empty but other than this we have no complaints at all. It should also be made clear when booking that entertainment passes are extra and can be booked 4 weeks in advance of your stay along with any activities you may wish to do. We were only there for 2 nights and everything was already booked up. Reception were very helpful and gave us complimentary passes to enable us to enjoy the evening entertainment

Not you faults but grandchildren disappointed couldn’t book for swimming everything already booked

the accommodation is great, clean and cozy

In the description of the accommodation it says that it has a private pool, but in fact only the owners can use it and not those who rent the accommodation

We liked the fact it was dog friendly, the caravan was warm and comfortable and it was near all amenities. Loved the location of the park, great walks, swimming and crazy golf. it was very relaxing. The park was well maintained.

the weather at times, situation of the caravan was good but a little noisy at times for an older couple the road outside could get very busy.
