Beautiful Grade 2 listed building - West Wing

Beautiful property, so clean, well equipped, stunning rooms and building. The owners were very helpful in the lead up to and even offered to extend due to the bad snow. Would definitely come again in the future! Had absolutely everything we needed and wanted! Thank you

One thing would just be the room with the copper bath - the toilet is basically in the room which is probably fine for a very comfortable couple but for friends this is a bit strange haha

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and would definitely stay again. The property is stunning with a mix of modern and old features. The beds are really comfy, as are the sofas in the lounge. Wood was provided for the log burner, bonus for us during our stay. The hot tub is fantastic with plenty of room for everyone. Towels are provided for both the hot tub and the internal baths/showers.Location is great too, it's a short drive into Bowness or a manageable walk. The late check out of 12pm is great, you don't feel rushed to leave first thing in the morning. Communication with the property owners is great and they send you lots of information beforehand of the local area and are on hand if you need anything. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect-clean, comfortable and everything we needed

The whole house is beautiful but the kitchen, master bedroom and hot tub were especially good. Very clean, great facilities with lots of space for our group of 7 and a baby. Great location and good value for money.

It was quite loud in the downstairs bedroom with noise from the people staying in the adjoining cottage, and we had to call to ask for the heating to be lowered as it got very warm but very minor issues that didn’t affect our stay.

Fantastic, lovely cottage. Kitchen equipment was great. Hot tub a great bonus. Fantastic master suite and family bathroom!

The sofas were uncomfortable, but some extra cushions would easily sort that. The direct road to Bowness had no footpath, which was a shame. However, loads of eateries there, so takeaways easy!
