Beautiful Grade 2 listed building - West Wing

Great location and great facilities and very good value for money. This is the second time we have been and like we can book one night rather than most which are 2 night minimum

The hot tub on this occasion was not very warm and temp locked so we could not increase it.

Good layout and facilities.

Lots of cobwebs and down stairs bedroom smelt of damp.

Smoke alarm going off in the whole house At the hot tub, the wifi connection got the to was poor, couldn’t watch as kept freezing which was disappointing

The house had a wonderful feel to it with a family like home! Its very well decorated and maintained with its original furniture! Location is within close drive to the town!

Even though we were hoping for early checkin, but that was not granted due to high booking time!

Comfortable beds even the bunk bed.

Nothing not to like it was exactly what was needed for a good price

I booked this gorgeous property for a night away with a group of friends. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, very clean and had plenty of room for all of us. There is also plenty of parking at the property. On arrival, we had been left some biscuits, brekkie things and a bottle of prosecco, a really nice unexpected gift. It is in a fantastic location, within walking distance to Bowness. Great check in time and even better check out time of 12pm, so didn't feel rushed in the morning. The added bonus of the large hot tub was fantastic! The only negative would be, that glass was not allowed in the hot tub but no plastic glasses were available at the property, so remember to take some with you. We all had a fantastic stay, so much so that we have just booked again for later in the year. Would definitely recommend.

Outdoor furniture had no cushions, so not very comfy to sit and relax on.
