Beautiful Grade 2 listed building - West Wing

The property exceeded our expectation. The location is very accessible to the main area of Windermere - this is our 2nd time in Lake District and we were happy finding this property to accommodate our big group of 9 people + 1 pet! The property has a very good and modern bathroom and kitchen. Very beautiful, spacious and elegant master bedroom! Bedsheets are nice and pillows are good. We enjoyed the hot tub/ jacuzzi! Pet- friendly property, wide front area/ garden for dog walks and bbq!

However other parts of the property needs a little retouch on walls, some storage rooms/ cupboard needs fixing and renovating. Someone commented in our group that the kitchen hob needs looking as it is not really suited for cooking (for more show) - needs a clearer instructions on how to turn on the hob, bin is broken! Other commented that it would be nice if a separate shower area and powder room is closer to the hot tub/jacuzzi. The ensuite 2nd bedroom needs complimentary toiletries.

Fantastic stay! The kids loved the hot tub, which is prepared in advance before our arrival. The upper floor is fully and nicely renovated. Large and fully equipped kitchen with two electric stoves. Within walking distance to the town centre, perfect for nice evening after dinner or early morning stroll.

Perhaps an additional small carpet covering the living area make an already perfect cottage even better.

Location is perfect.

Hot tub turned off at 11pm with the tv, was halfway through a movie.

We enjoyed the charm and character of the property and the facilities were outstanding. We were impressed with the kind gesture of a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. The accommodation was excellent for our family of four and we especially enjoyed the hot tub. Very quiet and convenient location, as only a short walk into Bowness. We look forward to returning soon.
