The cottages were exceptional! Warm, clean, comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for anymore.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The cottages are remote and up a long bumpy drive but the location is beautiful and so peaceful.

Lovely location and spotlessly clean.

Bed could be bigger and perhaps the sofa could be more comfortable.

We loved the location The cottage was spotless. The communication with the owners was excellent.

Maybe a box or basket for recycling would be a good idea. We used the tray but it was a balancing act :-)

A perfect secluded place to stay. Brilliant place to destress. Quiet peaceful and homely. Excellent in every way. In easy reach of major Lake District attractions and other not so well known. Accomodation is set in stunning countryside. A real joy.

I had an incredible experience in this absolutely beautiful and tranquil location. The cottage was stunning, and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was exceptionally kind and welcoming. This was undoubtedly the best holiday we've ever had myself and my partner. The cottage was beautifully decorated and felt like home. We enjoyed a truly magical experience, especially with the wild horses roaming nearby in the mountains; one even approached us at night, allowing me to pet it while it grazed next to our car. It was a surreal moment that we will always cherish. I fell in love with this place instantly and I will be returning again very soon.

The roads leading the cottage were a bit bumpy as they ascended uphill, but you quickly adapt after driving around the area a few times. The owner was thoughtful and repaired the potholes on the farm while we were there. Personally, we weren’t bothered by the road conditions since we were driving an older car.

Lovely converted barn. One of three properties. Surrounded by beautiful views. Very clean with everything you could need.

The road leading up to it was full of potholes. Not the easiest of drives in our little Fiat. We did get used to it though and it wasn't a major problem.

Everything. Great location, fantastic scenery, excellent facilities.

Comfortable and very clean house for a small family. Great host and great stay
